1930s Montsuki Haorihakama Nine Piece Men's Set | Vintage 30s Traditional Japanese Formal Black Silk Kimono w/Undergarments Jacket and Pants

You'll be all set for a traditional tea ceremony with this 1930's nine piece kimono set! The kimono is a kurumonstuki style in black silk with white flower crests and beautiful scenery woven on the inside with metallic threads. The han-juban or top undergarment has satin neck band cotton body. The suteteko or under pants are silk crepe with shell buttons fastening the fly. The hakama pants are gunmetal grey silk with a navy blue stripe, pleated front, stiffened waist, and waist ties. The main obi is black silk with a woven stripe of black on black and touches of white. The heko-obi is a less formal option and is black and white habutai silk with a textural checkered weave. There is also another less formal obi option of coral silk, koshi-himo tie for underlayers in a lovely salmon pink with tonal woven designs, and decorative obi-jime in turquoise and pink with fluffy fringe ends. This set is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
