1950s Corps of Cadets Fanciful Jacket | Vintage 50s Denim Blue Wool Tail Coat w/Brass Buttons & Black Soutache West Point |Size 38/40 Medium

You'll look fit and fanciful in this "West Point Cadet" jacket! This heavy wool jacket is denim blue with slight white mottling and an interesting partial tail cut. It features wonderful black and gold soutache and forty large brass buttons, some functional, some decorative. The high stiffened collar fastens with a large hook and eye. Fully lined with cotton. The jacket is dated "1 Feb, 1951" though it does clearly appear that the '51 was written over '41, so it is likely that this was originally from the 40's. This jacket is in great vintage condition, with no holes, or odors to note. Note: bottom row of buttons is not missing, a belt is traditionally worn across this area so they forgo the large brass buttons here.
