1940s Gallant Gilbert Suit | Vintage 40s Deep Taupe Brown Wool Gabardine Peak Lapel Jacket Vest & Trousers DATED 1949! | Size 42 Large

A handsome suit for a handsome gent, this 1940's classic will have you on par with Cary Grant! The wool of the suit is a decadent deep taupe brown with tone-on-tone topstitching. The jacket is double breasted with a half lining, peaked lapels, ventless back, three outer welted pockets, and two inner pockets. The trousers have a pleated front, inner suspender buttons, four welted pockets with both back pockets buttoning, and cuffed hems. From “P.H. Davis Tailors” of Cincinnati, Ohio and dated 4-18-49 on both the jacket and trousers! This suit is in excellent vintage condition with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
