1800s Lady of Luxury Dress Set | Antique Victorian Two Piece Ox Blood Red Silk Gown Skirt and Bodice w/Black Lace over Blue | Extra Small XS

An extravagant set from the Victorian era, this 1800's set will have you dripping in finery! The bodice is constructed of ox blood red silk with a the front and back yoke decorated with a black lace overlay on top of striped silk of cream and sky blue. The bodice features the classic pigeon bust shape aided by vertical knife pleats which also conceal the eleven button fastening, shoulder ruffles, and beautiful arced seaming on the back leading to a tail feather peplum. The silk skirt has a ruffled hem, pleats around the closure, and hook and eye with shell button for fastening. Both pieces are fully lined with cotton. This set is in great vintage condition, with subtle well done period mends but no holes, stains, or odors to note.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%). If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate.
