1900s New Years Celebration Tails Tux | Antique Edwardian Three-Piece Black Wool Tuxedo Suit with Vest Dated 1901! | Size 36/38 Small/Medium

You'll be putting on the Ritz at your next black tie affair in this fantastic turn of the century three piece tuxedo dated December 3, 1901 - likely bought for New Years Eve celebrations! This set is made of a rich black wool and a touch of silk here and there. The tailcoat has peak lapels and a single pleat running down each tail. Silk panels down the lapel and also covers the buttons on the chest, above the tails and cuffs, all accenting the lapels nicely. it is also fully lined with silk and you will find an inner chest pocket and glove pocket on both tails The waistcoat has a four button front, shawl lapel, two jetted pockets, and back adjuster. The trousers are flat fronted with a back adjuster and have two hip pockets, ticket pocket, and two back pockets with buttoning flaps. The suspender buttons are exterior and the fly buttons. The tag offers the date and is from "Emme & Rinedollar". This set is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
