1940s Brass and Bronze Cocktail Suit | Vintage 40s Taupe Wool Two Piece Jacket and Skirt Evening Set with Heavy Metallurgy Beadwork | Small

They'll break out the champagne for the broad in brass and bronze so go get it in this 1940's suit! Taupe wool plays a perfect neutral to let this beadwork shine! The jacket is heavy with the wide trim created with bronze bugle, seed, and facet beads. Keeping with the metals theme, six brass buttons fasten the jacket. Strong padded shoulders and curving seams and darts look sleek and let the beads do their work. Fully lined with rayon crepe. The A-line skirt has triangular gussets at the waist and metal zipper on the side. By "Forstmann" and made for "Miriam's". This suit is in fair vintage condition, with scattered pinholes and a very faint mark under the bottom button of the jacket.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%). If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate.
