1800s Lounging in the Library Smoking Jacket | Vintage Antique Victorian Green Black & Yellow Plaid Silk Faille Lounge Coat Robe | Medium

Make a stately statement but keep it cozy with this 1860s/70s early Victorian era Banyan (smoking/lounge jacket)! Even if your manor lacks a library you'll easily imagine yourself pulled up in a big leather chair with a brandy at your side and book in hand when you you can don this divine robe of silk faille. The main body is a plaid of black, forest and iguana greens, marigold, and yellow gold. The shawl collar, cuffs, pocket trim, and panels down the front are quilted silk of forest green and the piece is lined with a heavy cotton with a glorious paisley weave. Silk cord embroidered toggles fasten with loops on both sides. This smoking jacket is in good vintage condition, the quilted silk is has a little shattering and the faille portion has a few very minor spots of shatters just on the surface but is backed solid still. No stains, holes nor odors to note.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%). If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate.
