1940s Starr Studded Suit | Vintage 40s Blue Herringbone Pinstripe Wool Two-Piece Peak Lapel Jacket & Pants Dated 1943! | Size 42 Large

You'll be a Star in this 40s suit dated May 1943 - the same month and year of the famous Hollywood Zoo Suit Riots! The herringbone wool really pops with alternating pinstripes of white and pairs of electric blue. The blazer is double breasted with wide peak lapels and a 2x6 button closure, jetted chest pocket, flapped hip pockets, inner pocket, skeleton lining, shoulder pads, and ventless back. The pants feature a flat front, five pockets with one buttoning in back, button fly, inner suspender buttons and belt loops. Both pieces dated May of 1943, originally commissioned by Mr Starr. This suit is in great vintage condition, with a few subtle period mends and no holes, stains, nor odors to note.
