Early 1950s Pecan Pie Three-Piece Suit | Vintage 50s Pecan Brown Wool with Rust and Pale Blue Pinstripes Set | Size 44/46 Extra Large XL

You'll look a delicious treat in this three piece suit! Pecan brown wool highlighted with rust and pale blue pinstripes. Jacket is single-breasted with wide notch lapels, 3-button closure with trios of matching cuff buttons, jetted chest pocket, flapped hip pockets, single inside pocket, butterfly rayon lining, unvented back with shoulder pads. Vest includes a matching 5-button closure and 4 jetted pockets, backed in brown rayon. Trousers feature a flat-front, belt loops, healthy cuffs, 5 pockets - one with a button-tab in back, and brass zip & button closure. By Penny's, and includes a 1949-62 Union Label, dating this suit to the 1950s. We're comfortable dating this suit to the very-early-50s based on several features more commonly attributed to 40s suits: The late-40s/early-50s tag (according to the Vintage Fashion Guild label resource) and the overall very 40s-cut of the suit with the jacket's 3-button high closure and wide lapels, unvented back, single inner pocket, etc. Additionally we want to note that this suit is in gorgeous vintage condition - with *no* normal signs of wear/yellowing found in the jacket armpits/sleeves, union label, and vest lining - all of which are still gleaming white looking like they've never been worn! No holes, stains, nor odors to note.
