1940s French Fantasy Dress | Vintage 40s Cedar Brown Cotton Eyelet Embroidered Shirtwaist Frock “Bruyere” Paris Adaptation w/Belt | Large

Be the picture of a fashionable French lady in this chic 1940’s dress adapted from the Paris label “Bruyere”! Adaptation dresses were a slightly-more-affordable (though still quite expensive) way to wear the latest French couture fashions and this lovely day dress is a marvelous example. It is a cedar brown cotton with eyelet embroidery perfect for allowing a pop of color by adding a unique slip. It has a collarless neckline with button up bodice, tapered sleeves with snap cuffs, arrow shaped skirt pockets, and lightly flared skirt. Matching belt is a finishing touch. Metal “Talon” zipper on the side. This dress is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%). If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate.
