1940s Steel Grey Suit | Vintage 40s Gray Wool with Blue Diagonal Striped Weave Double-Breasted Peak Lapels Two-Piece Set | Size 38/40 Medium

Give the camera your best Blue Steel look while wearing this gorgeous 1940s suit! The grey wool vertical striped fabric is filled-in with short diagonal blue stripes creating a great effect! The jacket features sharp peak lapels, double-breasted 2x6 button stance with six matching buttons and trios of matching buttons at each cuff, as well as two welted hip pockets, jetted chest pocket, one inner pocket, unvented back, shoulder pads, and butterfly lining. Trousers feature double pleats, dropped belt loops, a full set of inner suspender buttons, steel Talon V-for-Victory zipper, and five pockets with one buttoning in the back. By "Glenwood Clothes" and sold by AL Kirk Huff of Glendale, California. 1939-48 Union Label as well as Victory zipper date this suit to the early/mid 1940s. This suit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, odors to note.
