1930s Belted Back Suit | Vintage 30s Grey Glen Plaid with Red & Blue Windowpanes Wool Belt Back Jacket and Trousers | Size 38/40 Medium

Heads will turn as you stroll down the vanity fair in this amazing 1930's suit! Made of a grey glen plaid wool woven through with windowpane pinstripes of royal blue and maroon red. The double breasted jacket features a 2x6 button stance with a matching set of buttons and matching trios of smaller buttons at the cuffs, pleated and belted back with center box pleat, peak lapels, two pleated(!) patch pockets at the hips, a jetted chest pocket, one inner pocket, and aubergine rayon deco-patterned skeleton lining. The trousers have a button fly, flat front, and five welted pockets with one buttoning in the back. Tailored by “Habichts” for “Good Clothes”, and includes a 1936-38 Union Label dating this suit to the 1930s. This suit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, odors to note.
