1940s New Years Celebration Tuxedo | Vintage 40s Black Wool Tux Suit with Silk Faille Peak Lapels & Grosgrain Stripe Trousers |Size 42 Large

You'll have that certain je ne sais quoi when you dress up in this debonair tuxedo! This suit is made of black wool with silk faille peak lapels on the jacket. The jacket is double breasted with 2x4 button stance in beautiful silk faille cloth-covered buttons matching the lapels, a full set of four matching cuff buttons, three welted pockets, one inner pocket, and full lining. The trousers have a double pleat front, metal "Talon" zip fly, five welted pockets with one buttoning on the back, a full set of inner suspender buttons, and wide grosgrain ribbon stripes down the sides. 1939-48 Union label in the pocket dates this suit to the 1940s. By "Warrington Clothes" and tailored by Michaels Stern & Co for Daniels & Fisher of Denver, Colorado and featuring a great Bellhop Logo on the tailor's tag! This suit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, odors to note.
