1940s Varsity Vincent Collegiate Cardigan | Vintage 40s Purple and White Wool Knit Two-Tone Letterman Sports Sweater | Large/Extra Large XL

Are you a sports buff as well as a vintage clothing enthusiast? Then you'll want to take this 1940s letterman sweater to the ballgame! A medium weight wool in violet purple features three white varsity stripes across the yoke and left arm, and matching white-stripe trim adorning the two pockets and edges. "Thornton" emblazoned across the back in blue chenille done in a great period font and outlined in white and purple! Six purple buttons down the front. This sweater is in good vintage condition, with some period mends and wear appropriate for age, but no stains, holes, nor odors to note.
