1940s Army Green Shirt | Vintage 40s Khaki Olive World War II 'XX Corps' Button-Down Army Shirt with Overseas Bars | 14.5 x 33 Small

G.I. Jivers, Captain America fans, and WWII reenactors will love donning this fantastic World War II-era U.S. Army uniform shirt. Work shirt is made of sturdy cotton twill in classic Army Green khaki and features great period details such as mitered button-flap breast pockets, rounded topstitched button cuffs, topstitched pointed collar, and flat back yoke. Single chevron patches on both shoulders indicate the shirt belonged to a private; cherry red, marigold yellow, and royal blue shield 'XX' insignia patch on left shoulder and four pale gold horizontal embroidered Overseas Bars on left sleeve indicate that the original owner of this shirt served two years overseas in France toward the end of World War II. Right breast pocket bears a golden yellow-on-khaki jacquard eagle in flight diamond patch. Black printed size stamp at center back neck marks the size as 14.5" x 33." This shirt is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
